How We Work The Magic

Developing real connection in people is not an outcome that you can just wave a wand at and hope it appears. It requires a willingness to bring your people together and create environments where they are able to drop their guards and open up to each other. This may sound uncomfortable, but we know from years of doing this with different people and organisations all over the world that the value to your team, and bottom line, is priceless. If you want to create a workplace that people love to come to, where they feel respected, heard and valued, then you need us.

Here's what we can bring to your people, team, and organisation.....

Create a Workplace Where People Feel They Belong

Belonging to a place and its people is a deep human need.  To belong means to feel safe and accepted for who you are by the people around you. When we have that as humans we are then able to be at our most creative and productive. When people belong, we feel able to have different opinions and difficult conversations, and free to compassionately challenge each other. All of which are the hallmarks of great teams and organisations (and families!). When it is missing, people often feel insecure, protective, defensive, and closed off. Creating a sense of belonging amongst the people in your teams is the single most important step you can take to support and grow your organisation.

2

A Culture of Leadership and Responsibility

Leadership is the art of taking responsibility. As humans the moment we start to take responsibility for the world around us we instantly begin to feel like we belong because we are taking ownership of what is important to us. Empowering your team to be leaders, to take responsibility, can change everything. Taking responsibility is not just about doing the tasks asked of us but includes being responsible for how we show up for each other, our energy, our words, and how we support the health and wellbeing of our team around us. We help facilitate this sense of internal and external leadership in people and teams.

3

A Culture of Open, Honest and Respectful Communication

Communication is a basic human skill, and in any group how well people communicate with each other directly impacts how well that group functions. And what influences how well the group communicates is not just driven by the personalities in the team, but also by these unwritten rules that unconsciously guide each person in their interactions with another. The reality is that most people and teams could learn how to communicate better with each other, and by this we mean more openly, honestly, and compassionately. And they (the teams) often also need to establish clear ways of communicating so that everyone can feel safe, heard, and understood. We specialise in giving people these communication tools, and with helping teams find their own way of communicating with each other that feels supportive, dynamic, and robust.

Do  You See Them Dance?

Well, this is the outcome. "Do you see them dance" is a poetic way of saying are your people flourishing? When you get your culture right, when people feel like they belong, are respected, and are able to express themselves, then you will see them dance. And when your people dance then your organisation is really going places.
